8,000 Guests Tonight.

Dr.Firouz Naderi the director for the Solar System Exploration Directorate at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory:
NASA/JPL has 8,000 guests tonight watching the LANDING EVENT. They will be hosted in about 20 different venues around the city. About 1,300 will be actually at JPL in various conference rooms.
Below is the Mission Support Area (MSA) where about 40 key technical engineers for the project will sit and monitor different aspects of the project. You will see this room on TV a lot.
I will be the technical host for about 50 NASA VIPs in the room to the right of MSA. You see this room in the picture below to the right with windows looking into MSA.
ALL OF YOU seeing the landing on TV or your computers are our guests too. Lets hope we succeed. This is really hard.
