Iranian actress Leila Hatami, lead actress of Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar winner A Separation, will be present as a guest at the 12th Osians Cine-fan where two of her films, The Last Step (2012) and The Orange Suit (2012) will be screened in the Frescoes
and Environment section respectively. Daughter of director Ali Hatami, she made appearances as a young girl in her father’s feature films and television series. Her professional acting debut was in Dariush Mehrjui’s Leila (1996). Her other notable performances include The Deserted Station (2002) and her husband Ali Mosaffa’s debut film Portrait of a Lady Far Away (2005). Hatami won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale for her performance in A Separation.
