Mother of Slain Blogger Sattar Beheshti Speaks Out
Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti was arrested on October 30, 2012 by the Iranian cyber police. Sattar died in custody immediately, allegedly from severe torture. His family was informed of his death one week later, on November 6. Gohar Eshghi, Sattar's mom, recorded this message in her son's memory for the Persian New Year in March 2013.
