Lida Sherafatmand an Iranian-born Artist dedicated the painting below to Neda Agha Soltan, the girl who became the symbol of Iran’s protesters after being shot dead on a Tehran street.
Lida Sherafatmand wrote the following message with this painting for Neda and the people in Iran:
“A deeply felt wish that everyone in Iran would develop in his/her heart a sincere appreciation and respect for every individual’s life and dignity.. so people could live in happiness, and in an environment of safety and respect.”
