No War! by Mana Neyestani
Born in 1973, Mana Neyestani is an Iranian cartoonist and comic book writer and designer. He began his work as an editorial cartoonist and illustrator in 1990. He has worked with various newspapers and magazines such as “Adineh”, “Iran-e- Farda”, “Sanáte Haml-o Naghl”, “Eghtesad-e Iran”, Tavana”, “Zan Newspaper”, “Aftab- Emrooz”, “Shargh”, “Etemad-e- Melli”, "Iran jom'e" and etc. He has published three comic books in Persian entitled “The adventures of Mr.ka” also a collection of his editorial cartoons entitled “Laughing Is Not Forbidden” published in 2000. He has had some experience as a storyboard designer for two Iranian movies, “Who Killed Amir?” and “Tehran, Tehran” (the second episode directed by Mehdi Karampour). His comics for children have been published in “Doost-e- Koodak” and “doost-e- Khordsal” weeklies. Now he is working as a freelance cartoonist for two websites called “Mardomak” and “Radiozamaneh”.
